Who we are
Circle Of Bytes ApS (CVR 45063925), Hornslet, Denmark, provides Echo Presence, an app that helps professional teams plan, capture and share their presence at conferences and events, including posting to LinkedIn. Circle Of Bytes ApS is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Echo Presence is in development. In the current test versions, everything you enter is stored only on your own device and nothing is sent to us. This policy describes the processing that starts when accounts, team sharing and LinkedIn publishing are switched on. We will update the date above whenever the processing changes.
What we process, and why

We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing (article 22).
People in your photos
Photos often show other people, for example colleagues, customers or speakers. You and your team decide what to capture and publish, and you are responsible for having the consent of the people shown before a photo is posted publicly.
Echo Presence only posts to LinkedIn when you or a member of your team has approved and scheduled a post, using the connection you gave consent to on LinkedIn. Once published, the post is on LinkedIn and is governed by LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy. Deleting a post in Echo Presence does not delete it from LinkedIn. You can revoke access at any time in the app, or on LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy, Data privacy, Permitted services.
Where your data is stored and who helps us
We store data in Microsoft Azure data centres in the EU. We use these processors and services:
- Microsoft (Azure hosting, and sign-in with Microsoft work accounts).
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, push notifications and in-app subscriptions).
- LinkedIn receives the posts and photos you publish. LinkedIn is an independent controller for what is published on its platform.
We do not sell personal data, and we use no advertising, analytics or tracking in the app or on this website. This website sets no cookies.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app. We then delete your account data and your LinkedIn connection within 30 days. Content you created in a team workspace stays with that team until the team deletes it, unless you ask us to remove it. Deleted data disappears from our backups within 35 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Write to the contact above. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
Children
Echo Presence is for professional use and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
We will update this page when the processing changes, and tell you in the app about significant changes.
